The Questions & Answers Group is a dedicated space for members of the Association of Disabled Lawyers to seek practical advice, share knowledge, and support one another. Whether you have a query about navigating accessibility in the workplace, understanding professional regulations, exploring career pathways, or managing day-to-day challenges, this group connects you with peers who may have faced similar experiences.
Members are encouraged to post questions of any size, from quick clarifications to more complex issues, and to share thoughtful, respectful responses. The aim is to build a collaborative knowledge base that empowers our community, fosters problem-solving, and highlights the diverse expertise within our network.
No question is too small, and every perspective is valued. Together, we can find solutions, offer encouragement, and strengthen our collective understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing disabled lawyers.

Hello, my name is Lizzie, and I am a first-year LLB student. Despite applying for my DSA well in advance, it was not until three months after my studies commenced that I was provided with the provisions to enable me to study. Due to the delay in this, I was disadvantaged compared to my peers. My experience is not isolated; my husband (also a first-year LLB student) applied for DSA at the same time and has yet to receive his provisions. We are now over halfway through our first module.
